Refelting

Hmmm. Can I refelt my booga bag now even after I’ve attached the i-cord strap? I’m going to try it and see what happens.
Booga Bag is complete! I really like this bag so far and I’ve already moved my Sigma project to it from a plastic Parisian bag. Now I’m off to work on Sigma and Chamomile.
My booga bag is blocking. But I forgot to take the before pictures. So far I’m happy with my first felting attempt. I will take a photo once it’s finished blocking and I’ve added the strap. I just ordered 2 knitting books from Amazon and the box they came in is the perfect size for blocking the bag. I guess I was meant to get those books. I got Knitting in Plain English and the Knitter’s Guide to Finishing Techniques. I’ve already used the finishing book to check on a decrease for Sigma. I think I’ll keep the box in case I decide to make another bag.
My Booga Bag is almost done. All I have to do is felt it. I’ll post before and after pics once it’s felted. I love it so far. I can’t wait to see what it looks like once I’m finished. I’ve worked on nothing else, but can’t wait to get back to Sigma. I’m ready to get a move on it, so I can finally start swatching Chamomile.
My yarn has arrived! This is color #55. Maybe I’ll begin working on my Booga Bag next week. I’m excited about this project. It seems so simple yet it will be my first foray into felting. I told you I’d have pictures soon. :)
