Brightly Colored Dad
23 May 2007 – 3:08 pmI was showing my dad the Lapghan I knit a while back and he said I needed to make 3 more just like it and piece them together to make a really big afghan. I have thought about making another one but making more longer strips. He thought this was a wonderful idea, but he wanted me to use bright reds and oranges. He apparently loves those bright colors that normally people wouldn’t put together, especially for an afghan that is going on the living room couch. Now I know why my mom crocheted the blanket they have in their living room in the colors that she did. He requested it that way! Of course, now he’s got me really wanting to make another one of those blankets.
