Weaving in Ends
30 November 2005 – 2:48 pmI’m working on weaving in the ends of my legwarmer. I’m almost done with the second one, but I decided to get started on the tails. But I knew I was doing something wrong, because it just didn’t seem quite right. I found an article at Knitty.com and it just finally made sense to me what was going on. I followed Theresa’s instructions and wow! It makes sense and you can barely tell that there is a seam. So seams don’t seem so daunting anymore. Hurray! I can seam without the headaches. Of course it helps to use a needle instead of a crochet hook. I don’t know why (I guess I was still partially asleep), but this morning when I was grabbing my knitting stuff to take to work (I worked on it during my lunch break), I grabbed a crochet hook instead of a weaving needle. Duh! Anyway, I got part of it done and will finish the rest hopefully tonight. I’m so excited now that I know the correct way to weave in those ends.
