Doilies

I’ve decided to try my hand at crocheting a doily. If it comes out okay, I plan to give it to my grandmother for Christmas. It is a pretty pinwheel pattern I found at FreePatterns.com. I’m still working on my crochet afghan, but hopefully it won’t take me too much longer to finish it. I just need to get back to working on it. Once I start, it doesn’t take long to get a square done. I just need to find time to work on it. During the week, I don’t have much time to knit. My evenings fly by quickly and before I know it, it’s bedtime and I haven’t done any knitting. My vacation will be mid-June and I plan to spend a week with my SIL. I doubt she’ll be taking time off work, so I’ll have plenty of time during the day to listen to music and knit to my hearts content. :) I’m definitely looking forward to it. And with my husband’s canoe trip coming up in a few weeks, I’ll have less to do in the evenings, so I may be able to get some more knitting done then.
