Shape It! Scarf

I decided to try my hand at the Shape It! Scarf in The Knit Stitch. Not a major project but it gives me a chance to work on knitting a cast on stitch, which is a problem for me. My first row keeps coming out to loose, so this scarf is the perfect way to practice. I can also get familiar working with circular needles. Of course, it may come out looking all wacky and I may end up ripping it once I’m done. But I figure it’s easier to practice with a goal in mind rather than just knitting endlessly for no reason.

I’m also practicing my ribbing, which isn’t coming out too bad for the first try. :) I think it’s too bunchy but who knows. It might improve as I continue to work on it and get more practice. Maybe I’ll post a pic for opinions, maybe.
